Our friends at image Comics have provided us with a preview of Underground, a new mini-series from creators Jeff Parker and Steve Lieber.
You may know Parker for his writing on such books as Marvel‘s Agents of Atlas and X-Men first class and Leiber for his stunning art on Oni’s Whiteout and Marvel’s Civil War: Front Line. but here, these two long-time friends team up for a new tale of mystery and suspense.
Here’s what image says about the book:
Park Ranger and avid caver Wesley Fischer is on a one-woman mission to stop Stillwater Cave from being turned into a tourist trap, but public opinion is not on her side. When locals begin blasting in the cave, Wes and a fellow ranger investigate – and a confrontation spirals into a deadly chase deep under the Kentucky mountains!
I’m a big fan of both of these guys’ work, so I’m really looking forward to this book. What do you think?
